So big!

The boys had their 6 month check-up with the pediatrician last Thursday.  She could not believe how big they were.  She also couldn't believe how loud and active they've become.  :)  They were pulling off her stethoscope, unplugging the instruments above them, pulling instruments off the walls and talking like crazy.  She said they act much older than babies born on their due date (which they are measured against).  They fit much more with babies born on their actual birthday of August 2.  Here's what they weighed in at:
Aiden:  16lbs. 12oz., 27 1/2in.  He's a at the 50th% for weight and above the 95th% for height on the preemie scale and the 28th for weight and 78th(!) for height on the normal growth scale.  He's very tall!

Noah:  Ready?  He's 18lbs. 4oz!  27 1/4in.  He's a big boy!  On the preemie growth scale he was over the 95th% for weight and height (he's basically off the charts for a preemie).  On the normal growth scale he's 58th% for weight and 69th% for height on the normal growth scale.

Reese:  The peanut.  15lbs. 4oz., 26 1/4in.  He is in the 8th% for weight and the 34th% for height on the normal growth chart.  I missed his percentiles for the low birth weight chart.  Either way, he's really just normal.  He's small compared to his brothers, but average compared to a baby born at his size.  He's must have a fast metabolism!

They are eating all kinds of different foods now.  They have very clear likes and dislikes.  They LOVE carrots, sweet potatoes and especially avadaco.  They HATE squash.  They will eat a mix of carrots, spinach and peas; only Noah likes peas given alone.  I made them some spinach this weekend, so we'll see how they like it.  I'm not overly disappointed they didn't like the butternut squash.  It was a pain to make!  I'm glad they like avacado, it's so easy to make for them!  Every morning they have oatmeal with fruit.  Today they enjoyed bananas, yesterday pears, one day peaches.  We try to switch it up.

We're sure that the terrible "T" word has hit our house as well.  Yes, teething.  Aiden has been waking up crying at night.  We had forgotten how nice it is to sleep through the night.  I know, we're spoiled.  Aiden and Reese have been refusing to eat bottles as well.  Feeding has become quite a job.  It's been nice having Nate around to help.  The drool and chewing has been going on for a while too.  No teeth or even bumps are showing yet.  Of course we'll take pictures when a tooth makes it's debut!
