Not much is new at the Brouwer house these days.  Nate and I are actually still enjoying being home together.  It's nice to have constant help around.  We were laughing about the days we were home together before.  When I was pregnant and we would have a day home together he would do things like paint my toenails, because after a while it was too much work to try to reach my toes for that long.  :)  Anyways, here are a few things that are somewhat new:
-Aiden has decided that each and every time he eats he must stop halfway through to poop.  He then refuses to eat another bite until he is freshly diapered.  High maintenance?  I think so.
-The boys are really enjoying each other and Lue (our dog, for those who don't have the pleasure of knowing him-Nancy I know you do-you're his favorite person of all time!).  They look at each other and Lue and just laugh.  Big, loud belly laughs.  They also laugh like this when they play with Nate.  He must be much more fun than me.  I get laughs, but nothing like he does.
-They are learning to use a sippy cup.  It makes me sad because that means they are really getting to be big boys.  They are still learning though.  They get a little carried away and nearly drown themselves in water sometimes.
-They are almost too big for their swings.  Okay, Noah probably is, but we're pretending he isn't.  The swings has a pretty big job to do in order to keep Noah in motion.  They also try to sit up when in their swings.  So, when the batteries start to die out the swings will lose their place in our living room.  Another sign that they are growing up quickly.
-They are definitely very different in their food choices.  Noah loves the green veggies like peas and beans.  The other 2, not so much.  They all do like the oranges like sweet potatoes and carrots.  They were somewhat interested in avacado.  They HATED butternut squash.  It was an ugly battle.  We were defeated in the end.  I won't be making that again.  It was not work the effort!
-I have not made a decision on whether or not to go back to work.
That's about all for now.  Next week will come a new post complete with pictures of some visitors coming this weekend (their identity is a surprise!  You'll have to wait for pictures!) and about the next visit to the pediatrician.
